Job Description:
- Operations and facility management of Systems / Infrastructure according to established procedures and service levels
- Manage systems changes through established change request process and provide status reports to the relevant parties.
- Respond promptly to incident, investigate and provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures. Monitor effectiveness of implemented measures
- Monitor and measure the performance and availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & availability.
- Monitor the agreed service level (e.g. service request, system availability), document & maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties
- Plan and implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.
- Provide systems related technical advice to customers or project team.
- Provide on-job-training and guidance for junior engineers
- Able to lead a team
Skills for Success:
- Minimum 5- 7 years of experience in supporting Windows OS server (2016, 2019, 2022)
- Good working knowledge of AWS EC2 / Lambda / Storage Gateway / S3 / Glacier / EBS
- Knowledge of Azure VMs / Functions / Blob / Batch / Backup
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix server, Solaris server, M365, Azure AD, CyberArk PAM and Zscaler will be advantage
- Possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills in technical fault isolation and rectification.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented, besides possessing the ability to work in a team setting.
- Candidate shall also be able to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external customers, peers, and project managers.
- Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills are essential.
- Well-organized, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously on tight timelines
