School of Art, Design and Media is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.
For our Human-Robot interaction (HRI) research project exploring the intersection between robotic motion path design and artistic animation principles, we are looking for a Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the project together with the PI and Co-PIs
- Apply animation patterns to virtual and physical robots
- Organize the studies
- Interpret the data
- Contribute to the publications
- Coordinate the research officers and assistants
Job Requirements:
- PhD or MA degree in robotics or related discipline, with at least 6 years of related experiences
- Background in robotics/automation (preferably having worked with articulated robots) and an interest/passion for animation
- Understanding of Blender 3D or comparable 3D Software
- Understanding of mechanics
- Preferably with organization skills
- Passion for animation
