Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Assistant Engineer/Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a Field Service Assistant Engineer/Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for our clients' semiconductor equipment. Your expertise in handling semiconductor tools and equipment, coupled with your ability to occasionally perform drilling tasks, will be crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment. Responsibilities:

· Provide on-site technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for our semiconductor equipment at client sites in Singapore.

· Conduct installations, upgrades, and modifications of semiconductor equipment, ensuring adherence to manufacturer guidelines and specifications.

· Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues proactively, optimizing equipment performance and minimizing downtime.

· Collaborate with clients' engineering teams to resolve technical issues, provide guidance, and optimize the operation of our semiconductor equipment.

· Utilize diagnostic tools, software, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex technical problems in semiconductor equipment and implement effective solutions.

· Train clients' personnel on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our equipment, enhancing their technical capabilities and ensuring optimal equipment utilization.

· Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including service reports, equipment logs, and inventory records.

· Occasionally perform drilling tasks as required for equipment installation or modification purposes.

· Stay updated with the latest advancements in semiconductor technology and equipment through continuous learning and professional development.

· Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.


Requirements:

· Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience in semiconductor equipment servicing will also be considered.

· Proven experience as a Field Service Assistant Engineer/Engineer, specifically in the semiconductor industry, with expertise in handling semiconductor tools and equipment is a plus.

· Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment, including experience with photolithography, etching, deposition, and metrology tools.

· Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues in semiconductor equipment, utilizing diagnostic tools, software, and technical manuals.

· Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and safety procedures associated with working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and engineering teams.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing customer needs.
