Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, YouTube’s Trust & Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators around the world to belong, create, and express themselves. Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

The YouTube Monetization Policy, Implementation, and Escalations (PIE) team's mission is: Timely, consistent, and accurate demonetization actions which reflect Google’s policies and values while mitigating high risk escalations with timely, predictable, accurate, and coordinated actions.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enforce policy decisions for YouTube’s advertiser friendly guidelines.
- Review controversial and sometimes offensive video content to determine whether or not they’re brand safe.
- Responsible for independently handling incoming urgent escalations from advertisers, creators, and press.
- Work closely with our global YouTube Monetization Policy Specialists as well as our partners in Strategic Preparedness and Response on urgent and sensitive incidents, and rollout policy updates and improvements with the policy development team
- Represent a well-researched, data-driven, user-focused stance for YouTube that balances users, advertisers, product, and brand considerations across a variety of policy issues and platforms.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in content policy/review, legal, Trust and Safety, policy escalation, or crisis management.
- Experience managing escalations, crisis management, or incident management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience or demonstrated interest in content or monetization policy, anti-abuse operations and or abuse fighting at scale in the online space.
- Understanding of how brand safety works for advertisers on internet platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to complete projects from beginning to end and in a timely manner.
- Excellent skills communicating with and influencing broad groups of cross-functional stakeholders
