The Cluster Assistant Accountant assists the Cluster Accountant in the supervision of the Hotel finance office, pertaining to all computerized accounting systems, month-end closing reports and general ledger reconciliation.
What will I be doing?
As the Cluster Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts and review problematic accounts. Direct staff in follow-up of accounts.
- Assist with month-end closing process as directed. Mainly focus on Accounts Payable, Cost Control and General Ledger function.
- Ensure all reports are submitted promptly such as weekly bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation and etc.
- Conducts and track Hotel Outlet’s beverage inventories on monthly basis.
- Prepare weekly and monthly food & beverage reports.
- Work with Cluster Accountant and assist in the supervision of Hotel Finance Accounts Payable teams, assigning tasks and giving guidance, monitoring accuracy.
- Assisting on quarterly GST submission.
- Handle special project assignments as requested by the Cluster Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

- Diploma in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Hospitality industry.
- Good organizational skills, attention to details and good interpersonal skills.
- Flexible with working hours and able to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
- Proficient in English to meet business needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
