Responsibilities
- Hire and collaborate with the construction workers and contractors needed to complete a job.
- Keep detailed records of expenses accrued throughout a project to ensure it remains within the set budget.
- Ensure the job site is a safe work environment and in compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Troubleshoot all issues that may arise on the job site and find an adequate solution in a timely manner.
- Create work schedules for all workers and contractors to adhere to.
- Source any supplies as needed.
Requirements
- Must have previous work experience or training as a General Foreman
- Must be a strong leader
- Must pay close attention to detail
- Must display superior organizational skills and be able to work efficiently on tight schedules
- Must be able to keep detailed and accurate records
- Must work well with a variety of people from different backgrounds
