Audit Manager

Job Responsibilities

· Conduct independent audit procedures and maintain audit work papers following SSA, while gathering necessary audit evidence for assigned engagements;

· Prepare audited/unaudited financial statements in accordance with FRSs or relevant standards as applicable;

· Supervise a team of associates/seniors in executing high-quality assurance engagements;

· Provide on-the-job training (OJT) to team members, actively imparting technical skills;

· Assist in creating internal training materials for structured training sessions during off-peak periods;

· Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for audit procedures;

· Communicate any issues promptly and in an organized manner to the respective partners;

· Offer guidance to clients on corporate secretary matters, finance operations, accounting systems, accounting treatment, and reporting as needed;

· Assist top management to manage the Job Schedule of all auditors;

· Consolidation of simple to complex group accounts;

· Drafting of audited / unaudited financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, where applicable;

· Perform audit procedures and document audit work papers in accordance with Singapore Standards of Auditing (“SSAs”) and obtain necessary audit evidence for each audit engagements assigned;


Job Requirements

· Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.

· Professional qualifications such as ACCA/SCAQ or equivalent would be advantageous.

· At least 6 years of relevant work experience (preferably with a minimum of 2 years in a mid-tier/Big 4 audit environment), including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.

· Experience with CaseWare is a beneficial skill.

· Strong knowledge of statutory compliances (e.g., ACRA/tax filing deadlines), audit methodologies, and audit-related applications.

· Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to provide guidance to newly joined associates.

· A team player with excellent communication skills and a strong command of the English language.

· Effective communication abilities to collaborate efficiently across all levels.
