Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including [list specific vehicle types] in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods and/or passengers to their destinations according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and passengers.
- Always adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.
Requirements
- Valid [insert country/state/province] driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 2 – 3 years of experience as a driver, preferably in [transportation, delivery, etc.].
- Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, if required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if necessary.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screening.
