THE ROLE
As the Department Head of HR in DNC ( Education ) Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of all human resources initiatives. You will formulate and review HR strategies and manage the administration and implementation of policies. You will design and develop plans to continuously care for, develop, improve the performance and productivity of people.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage full spectrum of the human resource functions and administration of the organisation.
• Develop and manage the recruitment process inclusive of specific selection criteria, interviewing, orientation and exit interview.
• Drive programs to enhance retention rates and motivate employees.
• Conduct regular market salary survey to ensure competitiveness.
• Identify training needs and formulate the organisation’s learning, career and talent development as well as succession planning.
• Drive and implement key exercises including annual performance management salary review and manage compensation and benefits programs.
• Formulate and develop best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of HR functions.
• Ensure organisation policies and procedures operate in an effective and efficient manner in accordance with the strategic plan and corporate objectives.
• Ensure compliance of HR matters with corporate directives and local employment legislation.
• Provide guidance to management on misconduct, poor performance and other human relations matters.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and other ad-hoc projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• At least 5 years’ experience, preferably with 4 years of experience in managerial position.
• Degree in Human Resources Management/ Business Administration or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of HR trends and local manpower regulations.
• Think out of the box and constantly recommend innovative solutions.
• Accurate, neat and meticulous in work.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management.
• An innovative team player, self-motivated, pro-active, mature and results oriented with the determination to succeed.
