Operations Manager

DWC SG is seeking for a dynamic Operations Manager to join the team. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the stall at the coffee shop, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all areas.


Specific Responsibilities:

1. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, ensuring that stocks are enough to sustain operations until the new stocks arrive. Mastering the process of forecast demand, determining reorder points and placing timely orders with suppliers to replenish stocks whenever stocks are running low and ensuring adequate stock levels while at the same time, minimising waste and controlling cost.

2. Ensuring that drinks and desserts are prepared to the highest quality standards, following recipes and techniques consistently to maintain the consistency of the standards. Understanding the critical role of quality control to enhance overall customer experience while keeping up with food safety regulations for the stall.

3. Interact with customers to ensure their needs are met and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Developing effective communication skills to interact and foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to encourage repeat business.

4. Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of equipment such as coffee machines, ice machines, blenders and refrigerators. Arranging for repairs or servicing whenever required, to minimize downtime. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of equipment surfaces and proper cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

5. Knowing the importance of financial management in achieving business goals and ensuring long-term sustainability by monitor sales, expenses and profit margins to assess the financial health of the business. Implementing cost-saving measures where possible and analyse sale data to identify trends and opportunity growth.

6. Ensuring that the stall complies with all relevant health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards and licensing requirements and the need to be stay informed about any changes in regulations that may affect the business.

7. Collaborate with the director to develop and update the menu, taking into account on customer preferences, seasonal offerings and latest trends in the indsutry.

8. Working with the coffee shop management to development marketing strategies and promotions to attract new customers and retain existing customers. Utilising social media, signage and other channels to promote the stall.

9. Hire, train and supervise staff members and delegate task effectively to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Being in charge of scheduling the work shifts ensuring enough manpower is provided for an smooth operation.
