Job Description
- Hands-on role in assisting research, innovation & development of laser testing, surface figure methodologies & reliability testing of optical elements.
- Sourcing out collaboration projects with Corporate’s test group to improve on current laser test methodologies.
- Participate in the development, planning and execution of test plans for prototypes and complex products transferred to Singapore.
- Working closely with operation teams to resolve product reliability, test, and measurement issues.
- Conducting investigation and responds to customer complaints/warranty returns.
- Participating in quality improvement programs and cross functional projects.
- Opportunity to liaise with machining suppliers for sub-contracted components in term of incoming quality, re-engineering machining products transfers to Singapore and perform audit to suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering with minimum 1-year relevant working experience in a precision manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Preferably in product & reliability testing as well as test methodologies design and development.
- Diploma holder with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in MNC, aero or precision industries can also apply.
- Strong analytical ability with good communication skills and strong problem resolution skills.
- Candidates with the following experiences has added advantages:
- Optics testing & metrology or working knowledge of optical components.
- Equipment calibration, GR&R analysis & jigs design.
- Statistical knowledge in SPC, Sampling, DOE, 8D report, FMEA and Project management skills and able to read and interpret drawing geometric tolerance.
- Sponsored Overseas Training in United States for 6 to 12 weeks for future plan with bond of 1.5 years.
- Eyesight with non-color deficiency to check the product quality of color parts.
