Roles and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot compressors received at the workshop, as preliminary stage before execution of the service.
- Service, overhaul and test all compressor technologies in the company's portfolio, from reciprocating to screw compressors.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with co-workers and when necessary, with customers.
- Recommend preventive measures and provide prompt and effective resolution to technical problems
- Duly maintain proper record for each service job, such filling service, inspection and test reports
- Follow up work orders for each job, maintaining checklist and daily time sheets.
- Work effectively in coordination with other departments in order to ensure a smooth and timely supply of required parts to complete service activities.
- Guarantee proper maintenance of workshop tools and equipment
- Conduct safety assessments of the working environment and to proactively propose improvement to enhance the efficiency of the operations
- Provide technical training for customers and technicians in the team.
- commissioning or commissioning assistance services, inclusive of verification of electrical panel, refrigerant charge adjustment, data recording and analysis
- Troubleshoot and identify potential failures of system and analyze compressor failure through operation data.
- Lift and shift to support customer in removal and reinstallation of compressors on the refrigeration systems
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years HVAC field service experience
- Knowledge in air-conditioning, chiller or HVAC systems
- Electrical and basic electronic background is required, must be independently able to troubleshoot and identify electrical control and power line failures.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Good in planning, organizing, interpersonal skills and able to work independently.
- IT Savvy, proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
- Must have experience working inside vessel
