The incumbent performs day-to-day front desk tasks ranging for check-ins/out, handles guests’ complaints and feedback, directs incoming calls, and welcomes visitors. He may also be required to handle basic inquiries and sort mail.
· Handles checks-in and checks-out, as well as cashiering duties.
· Handles guest feedback, provides direction, and gives suggestions.
· Assists in preregistration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
· Registers guests and assigns rooms.
· Handles guest complaints.
· Coordinates room status updates with the Housekeeping department.
· Liaises with transport carriers (e.g., airlines, bus companies, rental car agencies) to make travel arrangements for guests.
Pre-Requisites
- Minimum Diploma qualification from Hospitality & Tourism institutions
- At least one year of hospitality experience
- Well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Customer-oriented with a pleasant disposition
- Ability to learn fast on the job.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Ability to multitask and good time-management skills
