Your Role

Mighty Jaxx is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Test Intern to join the Engineering team in an exciting website revamp project.


We are looking for a full-time intern, who is able to join us from May 2024 onwards, ideally for a period of a minimum of 3 months.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, and other team members to support the QA team
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and QA tickets
  • Participate in the QA of features and bug fixes under the guidance of QA leads
  • Learn from and be mentored by the QA lead, and actively seek guidance to progress in your career goals
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and opportunities to the team lead


Requirements

  • Currently pursuing Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study
  • Familiarity with QA principles used for web and mobile applications
  • Understanding testing frameworks and writing of tests is advantageous
  • Prior experience conducting tests in the e-Commerce industry would be a bonus
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
