Job Description
- Performs daily systems administration-related activities and ensures systems operate in a manner that meet business needs.
- Liaise with relevant parties and stakeholders in the service management and operations.
- Required to be on standby (i.e. on-call remotely and on-site) after office hours, including weekends and public holidays to support the services, maintenance activities and service recovery.
- Familiar with various IT infrastructure technologies such as servers, firewalls and network.
- Required to involve with the development of new systems and participate in new system testing and implementation.
- Involved in piloting of new tools, technologies and processes.
- Create systems documentation which records modifications and developments carried out.
- Maintain technical documentation for the systems, process flows, operating procedures, administrative checklists and guides.
Requirements
- Possess a Professional certificate/NITEC/Diploma in Computer Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experiences in implementing and maintaining IT systems.
- At least 5 years of IT experiences with Linux operating systems and scripting in PERL or Python.
- Prior experiences in firewall administration is preferred.
