Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Build & maintain financial models for projects based on project-specific parameters, historical information and other available industry-specific operating metrics.
- Conduct scenario analysis based on microeconomic and macroeconomic factors to access business risk.
- Ensure the new models’ accuracy while enhancing the existing models’ quality to suit specific customer/ project site.
- Conduct Post Investment Review for past projects that have been completed and reached Commercial Operations Date (COD). This includes using both actual historical cash flow and forecast information to be incorporated in the overall financial model.
- Identify key financial and non-financial risks and advise mitigants for those risks.
- Analyze and identify data required to support model tracking
- Support Business Development team by providing assessment of the investment case including analysis and sensitivities.
- Maintain the full list of secured projects and ensure that the portfolio of projects comply with the Terms of Reference as approved by the Investment Committee and provide quarterly reporting to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 2-3 years of experience
- Good understanding of various central/state level solar programs/missions
- Good understanding of the processes and procedures for acquiring project approvals across different South East Asia Countries
Skills/competencies & Preferred Characteristics
- Self-initiator and self-directed relative to responsibilities and undertaking projects with good planning and organizing skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with key internal and external constituencies. Must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.
- Intermediate Excel & Macros required
- Experience in the Power and Utilities industry and familiarity with the broader energy industry will be an advantage.
