JOB DESCRIPTION
· Prospect new customers and maintain existing customer base to maximise ABLOY market share.
· Identify new projects and specify products according to the requirement of the enduser by providing a detailed and accurate specification/schedule of ABLOY products to the customers (system integrators, distributors, dealers, M&E contractors, security consultants, developers, contractors, etc.) within their requested and agreed time frame.
· Perform security audit and planning as an additional benefit for prospects and customers, so as to maintain a high level of professionalism in the electronic security business.
· Make sales & product presentations and attend tender interviews; including preparation and submission of quotations, samples & sample boards.
· Negotiate & conclude sales contracts in close consultation with immediate superior.
· Ensure timely and proper handover of each project.
· Process customers’ orders and work closely with operations support on delivery, site co-ordination and after sales service.
· Liaise closely with the service support staff to maximise customer service levels.
· Promptly & competently attend to all customers enquires or complaints.
· Manage and enhance customer relationships, with close monitoring and follow-up with regards to collections.
· Monitor Competitor/Customer activity. Report market intelligence on any information that will give ABLOY an advantage over competitors.
· Attend sales meetings, product promotions, training sessions and other industry related functions when required.
· Ensure clients are kept up to date with appropriate price lists, catalogues, samples and relevant marketing materials.
· Submit activity reports to management as defined.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum Diploma level or equivalent.
· 2 – 3 years sales experience; preferably in electronic security products and access control systems.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· Good spoken & written English. Spoken Mandarin and other local dialects preferred.
· Good public relation and negotiation skills.
· Good contacts with system integrators and security consultants.
· Able to operate a computer and knowledgeable in basic computer software; namely Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
· Possess a valid driving licence.
· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and project construction plans (working drawings).
