Job Description
1. Communicating with customers and potential customers, lessons and lesson bookings, instructional programs, corporate activations, junior development program, and national programs.
2. Impart coaching to students by giving them high quality golf lessons on practice facilities, on course and through written instructions.
3. Help students to understand the nuances of the game improving their enjoyment and involvement in golf.
4. Help students get on course experience as soon as possible, as delays in this will result in boredom.
5. Help students to simulate and understand real course situations during lessons, linking their training with actual course situations, which will improve their understanding and value of their lesson.
6. Guide students through review of videos and notes on their progress.
7. Work closely with Retail, Fitters, Technicians and others involved with the success of The Golf Lab.
8. Welcome guests, provide good services, answer their questions, address their issues and communicate all relevant information to improve their experience at The Golf Lab.
9. Stay updated with the current knowledge, trends, and technologies with regard to golf coaching.
10. To undertake any other job function as assigned by the superior and Management from time to time
11. Coordinate effectively with regard to the junior program and any other junior activities, and to coach the correct syllabus to the correct levels.
12. Attend all meetings conducted by The Golf Lab or MST Golf and be actively involved in training sessions.
Qualifications:
- At least PGA Diploma Program and CPD Accredited PGA Professional.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of golf swing mechanics, equipment technology, and data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in golf-related software and technologies (e.g., launch monitors, and motion capture systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for the game of golf and a commitment to staying current with industry trends.
