- Prepare food according to the standards set by the Senior Chef de Cuisine.
- Check daily mis-en-place, prepare, cook and present food ready to serve members.
- Plan, direct, control and co-ordinate the activities with the team as instructed by the Senior Chef de Cuisine to ensure an efficient and smooth food services.
- Share new ideas for menus, buffets, desserts, daily specials and food promotions.
- Assist in food requisitions, inter-kitchen transfers, inter-departments transfers are done.
- Check the quality and quantity of food received from the direct suppliers, food store room and other sub-departments.
- Assist control costs by minimizing spoilage, utilizing food surpluses and portion control.
- Assist to oversees all machines, equipment and utensils are clean and in working condition at all times.
