Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for the laboratory processing and storage preparation of client’s umbilical cord blood units and cord tissue.
- Maintain the laboratory in a clean and organized condition.
- Generate clinical reports as required.
- Collaborate with the Laboratory Manager and Assistant Laboratory Manager to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Min Degree in Biomedical Science or related disciplines
- Min 2 years of experience in blood banks / tissue banks / testing / pathology / research / commercial labs.
- Good aseptic technique,
- Experience in tissue / plant culture and the handling of liquid nitrogen will be an added advantage.
- Experience in maintaining quality records will be an added advantage
- Strong sense o responsibility and a good team player
