Senior/Executive - Retail Products

Thomson Medical Pte. Ltd.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to be responsible for driving sales and profits, including merchandising, sourcing new vendors, negotiating vendor contracts and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role will report to the team lead of Thomson Product Team to identify opportunities to grow the vendor management portfolio and ensure that the vendor performance meets company standards.


As part of vendor management, this role will also support end-to-end offline and ecommerce operations, marketing campaigns and events to drive sales growth and performance for the vendors.


Responsibilities:


General

· Drive sales and profits for Parentcraft Centre (PCC) Products.

· Keep updated on market and consumer trends, identify and onboard new vendors which are aligned with company needs and goals.

· Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.

· Foster strong vendor relationships through regular communication and performance evaluations.

· Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.

· Be in tune with industry trends and best practices in vendor management and procurement.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to vendor management.

· Prepare sales reports and presentations as required.

· Manage website content, including updating product information and promotions.

· Collaborate with creative agencies or designers to create websites and promotional banners.

· Create joint partnerships with brands to foster exclusive collaborations and drive sales.

· Assist in the display of merchandise, merchandising, vendor management as well as organising promotional activities.

· Participate and assist in Thomson Medical public events.

· To assist in departmental administration matters.

· Any other initiatives, new business or tasks as assigned by the reporting Manager and/or HOD.


Thomson Confinement Food Sales and Support

· Attend to online and offline enquiries.

· Actively market and sell Confinement Food to walk in customers and Hospital Tour visitors.

· Support the team in sales, activation, feedback, support where required.

· To assist in departmental administration matters.

· Any other initiatives, new business or tasks as assigned by the reporting Manager and/or HOD.


Requirements:


· Degree in Business Merchandising or Marketing.

· 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Ecommerce, Marketing and Promotions.

· Experienced in Merchandise selection and/or Vendor management.

· Strong business acumen, dynamic and results-driven.

· Good at follow-through, execution and detail-oriented.

· Exceptional negotiation skills.

· Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

· High level of initiative.
