Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting of company activities (e.g., Month-end close and GL) and liaising with the necessary counterparties for compliance of the accounts.
- Assist to maintain SOPs for the team.
- Provide support in resolving Finance issues and give guidance to team members where required.
- Preparation of reports as and when required.
- Tax planning for the group.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, ad-hoc reporting and other tasks as assigned.
- Assist Group Finance Manager in reviewing other related parties audited financial reports, tax compliance and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Recommend process improvements and system enhancement as needed, while staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance and accounting.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent (e.g., ACCA).
- CA qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years working experience (hands-on) in statutory reporting.
- At least 2-3 years prior audit experience.
- Sound working knowledge of accounting and tax issues.
- Ability to analyse financial figures and troubleshoot issues independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience in QuickBooks is a plus, but not essential.
