Our client is a Manufacturing company in the Biomedical industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Improvement Project Manager to join their Operations Logistics team, in hopes of developing the current high performing production team. They are located in the East – easily accessible.
Jobs Scope:
- Develop a deep understanding of cross-functional program dynamics and identify potential growth areas within the business.
- Formulate strategies to improve operational efficiency, continuously evaluating their effectiveness and outcomes.
- Lead initiatives such as Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs) targeting workplace safety, automation, process optimization, among others.
- Manage project timelines, ranging from short to long-term implementations.
- Engage with customers through project-related activities and Operational Excellence (OpEx) forums.
- Implement and refine LEAN system methodologies across value stream sections.
- Drive LEAN work practices, including 6S methodologies and root cause analysis.
- Promote employee involvement and commitment to change initiatives.
- Encourage innovative approaches and support business leaders in waste reduction efforts.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
Requirement:
- Degree in Logistics related field
- Possess Six Sigma (Black Belt) certification is an added advantage
- Relevant experience
