Role & Responsibilities:
Will be aligned with Customer Delivery project and will be responsible for testing various data warehouse / data mart solutions using Azure services and tools.
- Working on customer projects
- Analyze requirements, existing application.
- Design and development of test plan, cases, and scripts.
- Ensure that the critical test scenarios for release testing.
- End to end Execution of tests cases, scripts, validate, reconciliation.
- Deliver test plan/ cases in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with relevant team members (BA’s, Dev and QA) to understand project scope and identify and prioritize test cases and scripts and execution across data lifecycle of delta LakeHouse!
- Perform reviews of application code
- Develop in-depth system and application knowledge for higher test quality and coverage.
Must have skills:
- ETL Testing experience with exposure to Data Quality/Data Cleansing on Cloud platform preferably Azure.
- Hands-on on SQL and database concepts.
- Knowledge and experience of full software testing life cycle, Agile and DevOps
- Working & execution of different data management services.
- Good experience in QC. / Test case preparation. & execution
- Proven experience to implement BDD as a methodology for mid to large scale projects (1-2 years)
- Participate in story mapping sessions to define Acceptance Criteria
- Experience in implementing the test automation in agile & DevOps environments (2-5 years)
- JMeter, Pytest, Selenium and other data testing tools.
- Experience with at least one CI/CD tools set (1+ years)
- Familiarity with multiple test automation design patterns (Page Object Model, Data-driven, Keyword driven, Screen Play)
- Familiar with Azure Cloud services such as Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Blob, Azure Databricks.
- Familiar with data ingestion, data processing and analytical pipelines for big data, relational databases, and data warehouse solutions.
- Knowledge and experience in tuning ETL/ELT processes and SQL queries
- 3+ years of experience in data warehouse /or big data projects environment.
Good to have skills:
- Experience and Knowledge on Databricks
- Exposure in DevOps/DataOps in Azure.
- Test Automation for Mobile, Web & API testing, REST-Assured
Qualifications:
- Engineering graduates with a Computer Science background.
- Ability to hold dialogue with a client’s business and technical stakeholders.
- Good knowledge on execution of ETL/DQ/MDM jobs
