WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?
The incumbent, working very closely with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for all aspects of assigned territory management.
He/she establishes very close links with the trade and play an active role in the elaboration and implementation of Sales and trade programs.
He/she coordinates the implementation of sales and trade educational programs and monitors implementation KPIs, and competitive activity.
He/she will assist in developing and implementing channel-specific plans and agreements and monitor the sales activities via compliance checks.
He/she will also prepare and present account plans under the supervision of his/her Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
He/she shall liaise and work very closely with Marketing, Finance, Data Activation, and Key Accounts teams in the respective regional sales team.
He/she will be responsible for achieving his/hers Business Goals as established in his/her performance appraisal.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Responsible for effective preparation and implementation of sales, distribution, and through-the-line marketing strategies including but not limited to merchandising shelf-space, and educational programs as defined by the annual plan. Monitors progress, as well as the quality of materials, used and recommends corrective action where necessary. Assist in reviewing/optimizing portfolio across all assigned customers and channels.
- Responsible for field intelligence and data gathering through sales force automation tool provided (TME) as well as execution of KPI monitoring and reporting results to the Regional Sales Manager including but not limited to sales volume, pricing stock management, and brand listings.
- Responsible for trade staff engagement at shop floor level, contributing to JTI positioning as the preferred supplier as well as supervision and monitoring of outsourced personnel performance, including KPIs setting and tracking, staff compliance to company standards, and new staff interviewing (if applicable).
- Preparing and assisting in establishing the rolling forecast, LE, AP, and SP input and plans. Assist in developing and implementing channel-specific plans, identifying opportunities including return on investment analysis, and agreements and monitor (key) accounts compliance.
- In conjunction with the line manager and support functions, initiate/terminate 3rd party relationships (contracts).
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- University degree or equivalent (required)
- 3-4 years' experience in sales and distribution/channel management/field trade marketing. Experience in consumer/trade management is a plus.
- Cross cultural experience is an advantage, Cross functional experience is an advantage, Travel retail experience is an advantage.
- Fluent English (required), Chinese Proficiency preferred.
