Job Descriptions:
Interacts with customers, vendors and management to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
Acts as technical resource and point of escalation and helps in identifying and resolving complex incidents relating to product /service installation, update, conguration, operations, or performance.
Acts as a role model and discharge technical management within a team, guiding a team in providing services in a client , multi-vendor, multi-protocol complex network/system, or infrastructure environment.
Performs identication and resolution of complex problems relating to product/service installation, update, conguration, operations, performance, or other aspects of information technology products and services.
Possesses a deep knowledge of teams service of oerings, services, technical solutions, and management tools. Accountable as a technical resource and point of escalation for team members.
Requirements:
More than 3 years of relevant working experiences in similar industry.
Good and Practical knowledge of IBM Tivoli Netcool Architecture and sizing.
Good and Practical knowledge of Network Fault Management. Hands- on experience on IBM Tivoli Netcool Components (Object Servers, DASH/JAZZ, Probes, Gateways, Impact, TCR).
Hands- on experience on IBM Tivoli Netcool upgrade (for 8.1 version) and Good knowledge on Pre- requisites for installation (OS / Server / Sizing / Load / Libraries).
Procient with rules, lookups development for Netcool probes. Procient with policy development for Netcool Impact
Procient with dashboards, lters, views development for Netcool WebGUI.
Procient with automations and triggers for Netcool Omnibus.
Procient with TCR reports development for TCR.
Prociency with Operating Systems such as Linux, and windows.
Procient in Unix Shell Scripting and Perl Scripting.
Good analytical skills and Issue resolving skill.
Good experience in SQL/PLSQL.
Good understanding of database concepts, including language constructs, database versus table versus column, triggers etc.
Good communication skill and ownership. IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus V8.1 User/Admin course or equivalent experience, Certication on Netcool 8.1 would be an added advantage.
