Our client is an established company specialising in Biomedical and Manufacturing. They are expanding and growing at a fast pace and now looking to hire a Microbiologist to support the growth. They are located in the West – easily accessible.
The Responsibles of Microbiologist are:
- Execute microbiological tests following established SOPs, aligned with relevant standards and regulatory mandates.
- Provide supervision to QC Technicians, guiding them through microbiological testing processes.
- Maintain a ready supply of lab materials to facilitate uninterrupted testing.
- Lead laboratory investigations for out-of-specification results and environmental monitoring findings. Collaborate with process owners to determine root causes and implement corrective/preventive measures.
- Update SOPs to align with evolving standards and regulatory requisites.
- Facilitate external audits by certification bodies and regulatory inspections.
- Innovate and automate testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee and guide the production and engineering teams to maintain high hygiene standards and avert microbial contamination.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Life Science or related field
- At least 3 years relevant experience in Micro Lab
- Experience with ISO 13485 is an added advantage
