Job Description
- Provide support for legal documentation on credit facilities such as preparation of facility letters and other security documents, review of operational aspects of credit facilities, verification of authorised signatures, pre‐checking of conditions precedents and conditions subsequent
- Follow‐up of outstanding legal agreements.
- Responsible for the registration and implementation of credit limits in the bank’s systems.
- Handle loan operations duties, including but not limited to new loan disbursement requests and handle funding requirements and rate fixing, prepare SWIFT Payments, booking of loans, rollovers, repayments as well as collection of principal repayment, interest and fees due under the credit facilities.
- Reporting of past due payments or other anomalies.
- Maintain diary of covenants due, request customers or Facility Agent for the submission of documents required for checking of compliance of covenants.
- Reporting of long outstanding documents and overdue covenants.
- Preparation of reports as assigned by Team Lead.
- Monitoring of annual credit review dates.
- Ensure accuracy in the maintenance of collateral information in both local and Head Office systems.
- Monitoring of collateral adequacy.
- Data management and communication of information for HO and local regulatory reporting.
- Active participation in system user acceptance testing.
- Contribute to process improvement, best practices, efficiency projects and cost‐saving projects.
Job Requirements
- About 5-10 years of corporate banking loans experience
- Able to commence work within short notice
