Job Description
- Responsible for infrastructure-related and end-user computing activities including evaluation, procurement, implementation, upgrade, maintenance, and support.
- Oversee daily IT operations support for all IT infrastructure, systems (firewall, servers, switches, etc), data backup & storage, network, digital workplace solutions, end-user computing support, and IT assets in SG offices and warehouses.
- Oversee and execute day-to-day activities of Digital Workplace team in ensuring the reliability, availability and end user systems, services, PCs and infrastructure through established IT Operations policies, procedures and processes.
- Liaise and align with Group IT Infrastructure and Group Digital Workplace teams for escalation, project implementation and management, redundancy and high-availability solution, software deployment and patch management.
- Liaise and align with Group IT Security on implementing solutions, management, client/customer assessment.
- Manage outsourced partners and third-party service providers on service level, quality of services provided.
- Coordinate on disaster recovery drills, planning and executions
- Work with business and management to identify new process improvement opportunities.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Preferably attained CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CCSE, CCSA
- At least 10 years’ experience in managing infrastructure and digital workplace support.
- Proficient in ITIL - Incident and Problem Management, Change and Release management
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing network and security equipment such as Firewalls, Intrusion Detection systems, Routers, Switches, Azure Cloud
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing digital workplace technology in end-user computing such as Win11, end-point management, VPN, Printers, Internet filtering, Anti-Virus, mobile devices, RF handheld devices.
- Experience in managing mobile services, video conference and telecommunication equipment
- Good knowledge in public cloud solutions and on-premise systems/network
- Experience in managing C-suite users
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in third party management over data centre and public cloud services is an advantage.
