Senior Executive, Bid Management

Job Brief:

The Executive/Senior Executive, Bid Management, will be reporting to the Head of Finance, Procurement & Bid.

The primary responsibility is to lead the bid management process, ensuring the successful creation, submission, and follow-up of bids and proposals for ICT and Telco projects. You will work closely with various teams including sales, technical, and legal to develop compelling and competitive bids that meet client requirements and drive business growth.


Responsibilities:


Bid Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification to submission and post-bid analysis.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and legal teams to understand client needs, develop bid strategies, and create tailored solutions.
  • Coordinate bid activities, set deadlines, and ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of bid-related information, including templates, case studies, and pricing models.
  • Support any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Head of Finance, Procurement & Bid

Proposal Development:

  • Write, edit, and review bid documents, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements and company standards.
  • Customize proposals to address specific client challenges and highlight unique value propositions.
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather technical information and incorporate it into bid responses.
  • Develop persuasive presentations and supporting materials to enhance bid submissions.

Market Analysis:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client preferences within the ICT/Telco sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential bid opportunities and assess market demand for specific services and solutions.
  • Analyze previous bids and feedback to continuously improve bid strategies and win rates.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Engage with clients during the bid process to understand their needs and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage expertise and resources effectively in bid responses.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure bid submissions comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with bid submissions, including financial, technical, and contractual risks.
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to review contracts, terms, and conditions associated with bids
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or a related discipline
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in project delivery and or Presales Solutioning of Telco/ ICT Services
  • Experience in handling Telco/ICT project tenders as part of Proposal/Presales/Sales team has an added advantage
  • Experience in bidding for Singapore Government project tenders and/or overseas project tenders will be highly advantageous has added advantage
  • Former experience in QA, Project Management has an added advantage
  • Ability to work independently under stringent timelines with minimal supervision
  • Meticulous, outspoken and resourceful
  • Possess strong business/commercial acumen and analytical skills in risk management
