Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for full spectrum of AR activities: invoice issuance, AR collection & monitoring
- Be responsible for full spectrum of AP activities: recording bills, preparing payments to suppliers and processing petty cash reimbursements
- Prepare bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register and generating weekly reports
- Assist in preparing monthly management reports
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end, quarterly and annual financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure financial documents are properly labelled, organized and maintained
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, bankers, local tax and government authorities where required
- Support and ensure compliance with all corporate tax & other financial filing requirements
- Handle day-to-day finance queries from stakeholders
- Partake in finance related process improvements and initiatives
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Professional Qualification in Accounting will be an added advantage
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of working experience
- Audit experience in an established firm will be advantageous
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, organized, and be a self-motivated team player
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word
- Experience in handling full set of accounts
- Experience in XERO accounting software
