Opportunity
Working with Area Heads of LCL and the Centre Product team to enable the development and growth of the LCL product across APA. Coordinate the business plan across the 5 Areas of APA to align on key initiatives for product development and growth whilst identifying pan APA growth synergies.
Become the subject matter expert for LCL across APA and act as the face and key representative of the the product with Sales excellence and the LCL and TbM community.
Drive growth and profitability through active participation and support within commercial pursuits and enable customer retention by effectively articulating our Intermodal solutions.
Ensure the entire organisation have the latest up to date product information, training and utensils within their toolbox allowing them to promote and sell our product effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership
- Bring the Area LCL leaders together to form a regional community
- Establish performance management data and establish an appropriate reporting cadence
- Partner with the LCL FBP to coordinate weekly and monthly reporting, feeding in to TbM Leadership Team
- Understand and interrogate performance figures to identify revenue or profit leakage and identify solutions and opportunities for growth
- Develop forward facing metrics to track product evolution and growth
- Build links to other Region and Centre LCL product leaders to share knowledge and opportunities
Growth Enablement
- Establish and coordinate the LCL sales pipeline for APA, incl. driving APA intra-Asia strategy
- Consolidation, maintenance and distribution of LCL Value Propositions supporting Area growth
- Work with APA Marketing to refine and develop internal and external communications to support external growth
- Support complex customer pursuits
Strategy
- Input into global product development providing APA perspective
- Build links with other L&S and Ocean teams to identify longer term synergy opportunities
- Coordinate APA input for LCL OP1 process identifying platform development opportunities
We are looking for
- At least 10 years of experience as a product manager or operations manager in LCL, Logistics or shipping
- Ability to build relationships and engage a team of non direct reports to build a regional team
- Experience managing the P&L for a product or function
- Strategic research skills to source external trends and benchmarks
- Ability to identify and influence stakeholders and manage messaging to different audiences across the business
- Self-starting skills to identify long list of initiatives and scope directional values
