The Role
The Atrium & Event, Operations Executive will play a vital role in supporting the Atrium team in planning, coordinating, and executing successful atrium events that align with the company's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Event Execution: Assist in the planning, setup, and execution of atrium events, ensuring they run smoothly and according to established plans.
- Team Leadership: Supervise event coordinators and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with the Atrium and Operations Team to engage and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure optimal event delivery.
- Tenant Liaison: Work closely with tenants and property management to address their needs, gather feedback, and ensure their satisfaction during events.
- Attendee Engagement: Interact with event attendees/ suppliers, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Logistics Management: Oversee logistical aspects of events, including setup, signage, equipment, and other operational requirements.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that events adhere to safety standards, company policies, and local regulations, creating a secure environment for all attendees.
- Data Collection: Assist in collecting event data, feedback, and insights for analysis to optimize future event strategies.
- Problem Solving: Handle any unexpected challenges that may arise during events, finding quick and effective solutions.
- Collaborative Environment: Working closely with the operations’ team to foster a cooperative and positive team atmosphere that encourages creativity and productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event coordination or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully planning, executing, and managing atrium events.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate event coordinators and support staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, vendors, and event attendees.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Proficient in logistics management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on ensuring adherence to safety standards, company policies, and local regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think on their feet and adapt to unexpected challenges.
- Data analysis skills to assist in collecting and interpreting event data for future strategy development.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (a plus).
