Job Description
- As Application Engineer for Fluid Handling, you are working on Industry & Energy activities to support Sales Channels in achieving short- and long-term business objectives, increased profit and market growth.
- You're familiar with the specified application for end users & OEs. Provide troubleshooting support and give right recommendations to customers.
- Sensitive to market change, input the innovation direction to Product Development and implement the new product validation both in lab and in field as well as giving the final evaluation.
- Training to customers and internal departments from technical aspects.
- Executes department policies according to input from Head of Application Engineering. Ensures compliance with company policies & procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Science or Business studies (university/university of applied science)
Additional Information
- 3 years of professional experience in project management, technical sales, application engineering or technical consulting
- Project management experience in major projects, especially in international business environment
- Project management experience specifically within an international business environment is highly desirable
- Experience with fluid handling, hoses, hose fittings, especially in the fields of industrial or energy markets
- Experience working with intercultural and interdisciplinary teams
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable in public speaking, presentations and training others
- Advanced computer literacy skills, in particular Microsoft Office 365
- Additionally, you will have the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly with external clients.
