Role Responsibilities
- Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Utilize feedback from users to identify, prioritize and troubleshoot user problems into solutions.
- Develop prototypes utilizing design systems that illustrate solutions and how they meet the requirements.
- Prepare and present solutions to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Collaboratively iterate on components for our design system such as headers, buttons, etc.
- Adhere to global accessibility standards whilst keeping clients' branding in mind.
- Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional organization to prioritize, scope, and communicate the progress of deliverables.
- Assist junior and mid-level UX Designers with their career growth.
- Evaluate potential candidates' skillsets as part of the hiring process.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Knowledge of prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good time-management skills
Good to have
- BSc in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field
- Domain knowledge in the financial industry (e.g., Familiar with securities, derivatives, etc.)
- Comfortable with multiple development methodologies such as agile and waterfall
Great to have
- Experience in working in real-time, trading web applications for derivatives or other financial asset classes
- Experience in working with a development team
