Responsibilities:
- Working with Space and Community Division to facilitate event set-up and ensure smooth running of the front-line operations in the centres.
- Execute the technical requirements of each event booking / production in the areas of staging, lighting, sound ,video, and the projector operations.
- Perform daily Centre start up, shutdown and inspection of Centre services and equipment according to the standards and requirements.
- Carry out improvement, maintenance and repair work on all centres services and equipment according to the standards and requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise activities carried out by term contractors e.g. security, cleaners, pest control and vendors including event setup/demolition within centre’s premises.
- Liaising with landlord on Building and Service matters.
- Complies with established safety practices while expertly performing preventive maintenance, repair or retrofit of all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire / life safety emergency evacuation, water treatment, etc.
- Exercise Budget control in the aspect of Energy and Utilities in the building.
- Other ad hoc assignments by the Management.
Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Building Services / Electrical and Mechanical Engineering / Lighting and Sound.
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in Building Services/ M&E Services is preferred.
- Being skilled in painting, masonry, and carpentry works will be advantages.
- Service-oriented with strong desire in achieving customer satisfactions.
- Strong ability to work independently and as a team.
- Good organizational skills with excellent follow-up ability.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Fair spoken and written English.
- Fresh Diploma/NITEC graduates are welcome to apply.
