GENERAL FUNCTION
- To providing technical support and guidance to the Engineers and Technicians in the areas of molding process, molds and molding presses.
- Work with Marketing on consolidating customer needs and translating them into cost effective mold designs and subsequent large scale production in the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the General Manager on developing Business Plan that comprises Sales strategies, utilization of company machines / equipment and expansion plan.
- Work with the General Manager in strategic planning, goal setting for the Company and its personnel, and analysis of performance against those goals.
- Assign, schedule, and follow-up on all Molding development projects.
- Completely responsible to handle, coordinate, and follow through on every new mold development program from inception to production.
- Responsible to qualify tooling vendors for both design and fabrication.
- Responsible for meeting the cost and productivity goals required for each new mold.
- Manage expenses for mold repair, mold machine enhancement / spare parts to meet Budget.
- Assist the Engineers to resolve problems relating to productivity, product quality, machine efficiency etc to meet overall company objectives.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all work done on new tooling, as well as insure that the technical content and craftsmanship of each project meets the highest possible standards and practices.
- Assist and train personnel as required to maintain or upgrade their technical plasticcompetence.
