Contributes to the overall success of the Human Resources (HR) in Singapore ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The incumbent is part of the HR Shared Services team and contributes to the HR department success in achieving business objectives by building and maintaining a capable workforce that will be committed to delivering Seagate’s strategies. About the Role - You will:
· Collaborate with the regional HR Shared Service team and stakeholders to ensure a positive employee experience across various stages of the employee life cycle (Recruiting, Onboarding, Development, Retention, Separation)
· Collect, input, and maintain employee data in SAP SuccessFactors and other HR databases with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
· Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits, resolving discrepancies, and updating records as needed
· Supports Internal / External / audits, HR compliance testing as well as Regulatory Inspections
· Facilitate the onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations either face-to-face or remotely
· Participate in Global and Asia HR projects aimed at streamlining and digitalizing HR business processes to drive operational excellence
· Provide consultation to employees and managers, particularly regarding employee documents, HR data management, benefits, transactions, and related fields
· Advise employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and relevant legislative processes specifically to Singapore
· Manage employee personnel files and data within the HRMS and Government portal (MOM)
· Handle complex and straightforward issues, challenges, and problems within your specialized field
· Actively contribute to HR processes related to business and compliance requirements
· Coordinate with work pass agencies to manage the administration processes and consult with the Ministry of Manpower on escalation cases
About you:
· Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
· Positive work attitude with high level of initiatives, meticulous, detail-orientated with quality mindset
· Strong communications, written and interpersonal skills to manage diverse range of stakeholders
· Knowledge of local labour legislation and experience in work pass topics
· Maybe required to travel within Singapore sites (on needs basis)
Your experience includes:
· Prior experience in SAP HRMS or shared service environment is an added advantage
· IT savvy and comfortable with the use of Microsoft Office applications including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Automate
· Managing high-volume activities and handle data confidentiality
· Working under tight timeline and respond to changing priorities
