Your Role

We are looking for a QS Engineer to assist in calculating costing and quantity of different tender assignments.


What Will You Do

  • To assist QS Manager in handling and calculating the quantity and costing of the different tender assignments.
  • To handle technical review on the supplier or contractor quotation or proposal and ensure all requirements are complied.
  • Able to understand general contracts and various tender documents.
  • Able to provide budget cost or estimates as per instruction.
  • Liaise with suppliers for their products and services presentation.
  • Able to look for solution regarding any technical problems during tender.
  • Able to communicate with other departments in dealing with various documents and issues.
  • Coordinate with the supplier or contractor regarding follow up on bills and quantities.
  • To evaluate and check on market unit rates monthly or quarterly for material and labour cost.
  • To hand over all tender documents and costings to project team once the tender is awarded.
  • To attend site showround of the tenders that the company is interested in.
  • To reply to tender clarification, preparation for tender interview and presentation.


What Do We Need

  • At least a Diploma or Degree in M&E, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Have experience working in Subcontractor environment will be added advantage.
