PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
Within the Material & Services branch in Singapore, the Component Induction Logistician is responsible to
· Perform system dismantle/installation of components
· Perform system receipt of components
· Perform system material transactions e.g. PO receipt, movement, despatch and other relevant transactions
OVERALL OBJECTIVE
The Component Induction Logistician is contributing to the fast turnaround of components received from any aircraft operators or airlines in Asia-Pacific.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Component Induction Logistician is responsible to:
- Perform system dismantle/installation of components
- Performing system receipt of components
- Perform material transactions e.g. PO receipt, movement, despatch and other relevant transactions
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times
- Perform any other tasks/functions assigned by manager
The responsibilities and tasks of the position are not limited to the above mentioned and change might occur in concert with direct Manager.
CONTEXT/ENVIRONMENT
- Market environment is highly influenced by product quality, time to market, and availability of material at the time of request. It is a highly competitive market,
- Material & Services is supporting 10 long-term pooling contracted customers in Asia Pacific and has to provide aircraft parts in serviceable condition to respect its contractual obligations.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Higher Nitec, Nitec in aerospace/engineering/logistics discipline or A-levels
- Good written and communications skills
- Good work attitude and a team player
- Knowledge in aerospace and/or logistics is preferred
- Working experience in the aerospace industry (MRO) would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or SAP beneficial
