Our client is a leading producer of premium ice cream products, committed to delivering exceptional quality and taste to our customers. We are currently seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join our team and oversee our ice cream production operations.
Job Description:
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our ice cream production facility. You will be responsible for overseeing the production process, managing a team of production workers, and maintaining quality standards to meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Production Operations: Oversee day-to-day production activities, including mixing, freezing, and packaging of ice cream products.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and meet production targets to fulfill customer orders on time.
Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot any operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of production workers to achieve production goals and maintain high-quality standards.
Provide guidance and training to new team members on production processes and safety procedures.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all ice cream products meet company standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
Conduct regular inspections of production processes and product samples to identify and resolve quality issues.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct safety training sessions for production staff and promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to food safety and production standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover ratios.
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and production yields for reporting purposes.
Working Location: Pandan Loop
Working Days: 6 Days Work/ Week (Mon- Sat)
Working Shifts: Normal shifts start around 7am to around 4pm (Due to business needs, there are days whereby you are required to work until 10pm.)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in ice cream production or food manufacturing industry, with at least three years of supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of production processes and equipment used in ice cream production.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Fluent in Mandarin is essential, with excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing in order to liaise with chinese speaking clients.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and production management software.
