Job Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Market Analyst to join our Product Development team.
- The ideal candidate will work closely with the Product Managers to deeply understand business requirements, analyse market trends, user data, and provide valuable insights to guide the evolution and improvement of our products.
- This role is pivotal in ensuring that our products meet and exceed the expectations of key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Product Development:
- Conduct comprehensive research on the trading and payment industry to identify market gaps, opportunities, and benchmark functionalities of competing platforms.
- Collaborate effectively with the Product Manager, key stakeholders, and end-users to gather, define, and document clear business requirements.
- Maintain and update documentation of use cases, functional specifications, and processes in alignment with acceptance criteria.
Audience and Needs Analysis:
- Develop a deep understanding of our target audience’s needs through various research methodologies.
- Investigate and analyse the core motivations behind end user behaviours and interactions with our products.
Data Analysis:
- Identify key data metrics crucial for monitoring conversion rates and pinpointing drop-off points.
- Provide actionable recommendations for product improvements based on analytical insights.
- Track, analyse, and interpret customer behaviour and trends on our platform to inform strategic decisions
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Marketing, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
- Min 3 years of experience in market research and data analysis, preferably in a digital context.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Familiarity with market research tools and methodologies • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communicator (written and verbal) with experience presenting / socializing insights at all levels of an organization (and especially to non-researchers)
- Ability to quickly get up-to-speed and thrive in an evolving and fast-paced environment, prioritizing and handling multiple projects concurrently, often with little supervision or lack of established process
