Responsibilities:
The role is expected to set MEA business objectives for the Corporate Management, Human Resources and Compliance & Legal functions, oversee the MEA regional day-to-day operations of the Corporate Management Team, HR Team and Compliance & Legal Team, develop business ideas and directions to drive change in the regional organization; and provide advice & solutions to the Board of Directors as needed for MEA organizational activities related.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Develop and lead MEA regional business strategy, organizational policies and philosophies;
- Oversee and monitor the business activities of MEA, including but not limited to Human Resource, Compliance and Legal, and Corporate Management.
- Ensure that the objectives of each function are consistent with the company’s short-term and long-term business development and expanding goals.
- Communicate and maintain trusting relationships with Japan HQ, subsidiary management, shareholders, business partners and government agencies;
- Lead department heads to achieve maximum performance and provide mentorship to talents development.
- Lead the organization to achieve excellence in a globalized environment;
- Build and maintain a corporate culture or work environment with innovative thinking.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 12 years of demonstrated professional management experience and experienced in leading multiple teams and working cross-functionallyin a multinational real estate company.
- Good knowledge of general law, compliance regulations and HR practise.
- Rich experience in improving systems and procedures.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external parties.
- Regular business trips to Japan HQ and other countries are required.
- Fluent Japanese is required to ensure smooth communication with Japan HQ and subsidiary management.
