Description
The role and responsibility of a Meat Specialist is to drive sales and profitability of the department by ensuring overall visual merchandising, product range, shrinkage management at store level. Equipped with in-depth knowledge of meats mainly on product features, meat processing, visual management, service standard, and shrinkage management. As an experienced subject matter expert, the Meat Specialist is required to supervise and mentor skilled cutters assigned to the respective counter(s).
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read and understand product labels
- Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and food safety
- Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Service-oriented and a team player
Work Hours
- Rotating shifts between 7am-3pm / 3pm-11pm
- 6 days/ week including Weekends & PH
