As a Head of Innovation, the candidate will drive SCM and Process Improvement/Innovation across the organization in Singapore sales office.
Supply Chain Management
• Prepare reports on SCM KPIs, operational issues (e.g., supply issue, aging inventory, and low forecast accuracy) and progress of SCM related initiatives to Management
• Monitor SCM system to identify operational issues including sales (sell-in & out) forecasting / inventory management / supply and communicate timely with business units to set improvement plans
• Conduct trainings and provide support on SCM processes and systems
Process Improvement / Project Management
• Collaborate with HQ / RHQ on various projects, which may include system implementation, internal process improvement or customer collaboration.
• Discover gaps in current processes and develop business cases to justify improvement projects
• Drive business process improvement projects with internal / external partners
• Participate in improving Samsung legacy systems such as MCS/MCS Pro/EDI/GSCM
• Drive e-Commerce Biz initiatives with focus on platform enhancement and process improvement.
Requirements
• 10+ years of relevant working experience of which includes at least 2-3 years of supervisory roles
• Have a project management experience or working as a consultant in either process or IT related consulting firm. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is plus.
• Strong data analysis skills with advanced knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent working knowledge of systems (database or planning systems)
• Strong engagement and leadership skills with the ability to communicate well with peers and managers across various functions (e.g., Sales, marketing, finance, logistics)
• Effective presentation skills as this role will require making presentations to management
• Able to do self-learning and fast learning on various process and system and then able to train all other departments
• Business level Korean language proficiency is required to liaise with Korea HQ and Korean stakeholders
