You will be a part of the Business Finance team, supporting the management through providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis.
You will be trained to understand the insurance business and play a critical role in finance system transformation.
This is a highly visible position where you will need to interact with various business units to understand the variances on the financials and provide support in their decision-making process.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly management reporting process, work closely with the financial reporting team to ensure process runs smoothly and deliver monthly financial pack to management.
- Prepare analysis on the financials and presentation slides for monthly management meetings and thematic discussions.
- Support the business finance team in preparation of Board and Audit Committee meetings deliverables (e.g. Financial commentaries, discussion papers).
- Support the business finance team in the quarterly forecast and annual budget exercise.
- Support IFRS17 business planning project.
- Consolidate inputs and understand the variances through discussion with various business units.
- Participate in finance system and process transformation project.
- Take on ad-hoc assignment to support internal and external stakeholders on finance related matters
Requirement
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ Business Administration or relevant discipline.
- At least 2 years’ experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP, Essbase system, Tableau and Alteryx have an added advantage.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous, analytical and can handle voluminous data with ease.
