Regional Vendor Manager International Network Capacity

Job Description:

1. Performing or supporting global strategic sourcing initiatives /global supplier deals regarding Network Capacity demand. => presales savings and winning bids in cooperation with Bid-project team

2. Advising internal stakeholders when sourcing NC services as well as active analysis of optimization levers in regards to demand and demand specifications for Network Capacity. => Stakeholder communication on strategy and stakeholder consulting on single demand requests.

3. Introduction of new supplier Network Capacity products into DTGBS’ service portfolio triggered by market analysis or as a consequence of a Product & Portfolio department initiative. => product and supplier on-boarded for the specific internal product.
3. Preparation and performing regional inventory tenders for network capacity and leading the negotiations in cooperation with stakeholders. => COP cost savings due to renewing contracts or migrating lines.
4. Manage Frame Contract, Master Service Agreements and Project Contract negotiations with Network Capacity key suppliers in all relevant dimensions. => Signed Master Service or Project Agreement

5. Coordinating integration of technical parameters and project time line parameters into such contractual agreements with NC suppliers in alignment with network production, project leads and legal department. => Technical Annexes to MSAs

7. Supplier performance assessment in cooperation with network production and other Procurement units. => Supplier Score Cards & Share of Wallet Reports + Review meetings

8. Documentation of regional NC strategy and respective changes, giving guidance to an operational procurement unit who has to execute the respective strategy. => Documentation & Training

9. Strong technology partnership management and engagement. = > Establishing regional delivery capability with carriers and systems integrator


Education/ academic studies

1. University degree or an MBA in the area of Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Technology or equivalent qualification.

2. Business Fluent English is required


Experience and Qualifications

1. 5 years’ work experience with Network Capacity carrier suppliers in a procurement, technical or sales function.

2. Very deep knowledge about the Network Carrier market in APAC South Region,

3. Good communication and presentation skills.

4. Experience working in an intercultural working context

5. Experience working in virtual global project teams

6. Project Management Experience

7. Excellent Business Acumen (combination of knowledge and skill informed by experience)
