Job Description:
- Establish and maintain an organized inventory management system for all materials and equipment stored at the site office.
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and availability of materials as per project needs.
- Receive incoming materials and equipment deliveries at the site office, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on received items to identify any damages, discrepancies, or defects, and take appropriate actions as necessary.
- Ensure proper storage and warehousing of materials and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer recommendations.
- Coordinate the distribution of materials and equipment to various work sites within the shipyard or construction site as per project requirements.
- Prepare materials requisitions, issue materials to authorized personnel, and maintain accurate records of material movements and transactions.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all material transactions, including receipts, issuances, transfers, and returns.
- Generate regular reports on inventory status, stock movements, and consumption rates, providing visibility into stock levels and trends for project management and stakeholders.
- Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring prompt delivery of materials and resolving any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Supporting gas trial for onshore logistic role such as arrange equipment lift on and off the ship and onshore and offshore transportation with local agent.
