Our client is a process technology solutions provider for the beverages industry with years of experience in system and machine engineering.
Job Scope:
- Responsible for the supply chain activity, including the purchasing process, placement of orders and delivery arrangement, and logistics coordination.
- Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers for each project's best possible price and delivery time.
- Issue purchase orders (POs) to suppliers for the purchase of mechanical & electrical equipment, spare parts, and other project-related components.
- Expedite and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery to meet project deadlines.
- Coordinate with forwarding agencies for customs clearance of imports and exports.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Project team to ensure alignment between procurement activities and overall project goals.
- Other supply chain functions include updating timesheets for Project teams and month-end closing submissions.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative tasks assigned by the project team.
Ideal Experience
Ideally, you should have 3 or more years of experience:
- Procurement and shipping coordination
- Issuing Purchase Orders (POs)
- Knowledge with excel and SAP
- Coordination with forwarding agencies
- Stakeholder management
Bonus Experience:
- Experience in the F&B industry
