We are looking for an experienced Regional Business Manager, Detection to join Leica Geosystems, a part of Hexagon AB that provides innovative solutions for the Surveying, Buildings, and Heavy Construction industries.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to continue growth for Geosystems related business in the designated region.
- Manage existing and new accounts ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through identifying areas in which new value can be added to the clients as well as rectifying issues promptly.
- Develop strategic relationships with customers, dealers and industry contacts.
- Ensure sales forecasts and budgets are achieved.
- Identify, foster and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and industry contacts supporting the attainment of the goals of the business.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the region and, in particular, customer needs and requirements.
- Present and demonstrate the GEO radar product range and associated benefits for customers.
- Contribute to development and ongoing updating of financial and personnel budgets for approval by senior management.
- Work with technical engineers to assist with customer enquiries, provide technical sales information, support and training.
- Prepare period sales reports as required.
- Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, sales presentations and demonstrations.
- Prepare documentation and submissions for Tenders, Expressions Of Interest and Requests For Information.
- Liaise with Finance department for management of receivables.
- Represent the business in industry events and tradeshows and collaborate with the Marketing and Sales team to prepare for such events.
- Increase market awareness of existing and newly developed product ranges.
- Develop and deliver regular marketing and sales plans as required by the business.
- Work collaboratively with GeoRadar team to provide insights into client and industry product requirements as well as potential development which will set GeoRadar apart from its competitors.
- Compliance with Hexagon Geosystems’ Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures, participation in audits and compliance with instructions given in respect to the health and safety of himself / herself and the safety of others.
- Assist with lead generation and finding and strengthening channel distribution partners through training and improving IDS product awareness.
- Attend and speak at conferences and events throughout the APAC region.
- Travel required throughout the APAC region.
- Other duties as required from time to time.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Experience Required:
- Geophysical background with Ground Penetrating Radar experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Commercial experience in Civil, software/engineering, technology, or related industry.
- Proven successful track record in large new sales and business development.
- Previous track record working autonomously.
